From the red carpet to the director’s chair, explore the Australians shaping Hollywood.
E2 was commissioned by the National Film and Sound Archive to design Australians and Hollywood, an exhibition celebrating the global achievements of Australians in the film industry. The exhibition highlights iconic filmmakers, cinematographers, actors, and designers – including George Miller, Baz Luhrmann, Adam Arkapaw, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Catherine Martin, and Rachel Perkins – showcasing their contributions to Hollywood cinema.
Visitors are invited to walk in the footsteps of these celebrated Australians, experiencing the glamour and spectacle of Hollywood through walking the red carpet and interacting with immersive displays. Film clips, trailers, acceptance speeches, press calls, and red carpet moments are complemented by costumes, storyboards, journals, and behind-the-scenes photography, offering unique insight into the creative processes and achievements of these artists.
The exhibition blends cinematic storytelling with interactive and curated experiences, transporting audiences into the worlds of Australia’s most influential Hollywood talent while celebrating their cultural and artistic impact on the global stage.
