ORIENTAL TEA HOUSE
The client approached us following an internal assessment of their restaurant space.
They wanted to create a more Oriental-style deli to showcase their dumplings. The current tea ceremony space also needed to be explored in further detail so that it could enhance the element of food theatre. Overall, they felt the design should be more contemporary and in line with their current branding, from the front of house retail display to the restaurant area towards the back of house.
Emphasising on the tea ritual experience to engage the five senses, we designed a retail and dining area that fused Chinese tradition with contemporary aesthetics.
The new design is still in the construction phase.
